I’m sure this incident will be one that will be remembered for a long while in Delaware State police departments …
The other night Delaware State Police got a call about a man running naked along Interstate-95. It turns out that the Chester, Pennsylvania man was drunk and he startled drivers enough to have caused three accidents!
Ardonas Gilbert, 26, was running along the southbound lanes near Marsh Road at about 10 pm in the evening.
He was charged with two counts of assault and a single count of being drunk on the highway.
Two people tried to help Gilbert but he began assaulting them and ran back into traffic causing the three accidents that I’d mentioned previously. Cars were swerving to try to avoid hitting him. Luckily neither he nor any of the accident victims were seriously injured.
