Phillip Sherman of Arkansas learned a lesson that he won’t soon forget. You see he left his cellphone behind at a McDonald’s restaurant and the photos that he had on the phone ended up online.
Unfortunately for him the pictures on the phone were nude photos of his wife!
Sherman and his wife Tina are now in the midst of suing McDonald’s Corp, the franchise owner and the store manager. They want a jury trial and are seeking $3 million in damages for suffering, embarrassment and the cost of having to move to a new home.
The suit says that Phillip Sherman left the phone the Fayetteville store in July and that employees promised to secure it until he returned.
I guess the lesson we can take from this is that if you have taken compromising pictures transfer them to someplace safe – like your computer, rather than leaving them on your phone. You know, just in case you lose it!

Not much chance of winning that law suit! lesson learned?

Wow!! Not sure if McDonald’s is to blame for this. First, they may have been too busy to grab the phone right away. Second, why did he have pictures of his wife on his phone? To me that seems kind of juvenile — like something my teenage students do. You’re married to her, look at her when you get home.

Um… yea- do you really need to keep nude pictures of your wife on your phone? And does she really let you? I’d be worried of a much less sinister chain of events- my husband’s friends playing with his phone when bored and coming across the photos!
