Imagine driving on the freeway behind a car that happened to lose all four of it’s wheels at the same time!
Scary thought huh?
Well this actually happened in early June to a driver in Switzerland!
He was driving his car along a busy motorway when his car lost all four wheels causing his vehicle to come to an immediate and likely jarring halt!
Apparently the cars tires had just been changed from winter tires to summer tires and the wrong bolts were used to secure the new tires! Luckily no one was injured when the accident occurred!

My husband and I were driving upstate for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary last August, when we heard a freaky noise rumbling under the car. We had to accelerate to get out of the center lane and across to a sliver of shoulder on I-95.
We’d lost two bolts on the right rear tire and one on the left. The front tire bolts were also loose. We’d just gotten our Mazda serviced and the idiot who rotated the tires didn’t tighten them. By the time we drove back to Queens, the mechanic had been fired, which was a good thing because I would have killed him.
The kicker, if you believe in such claptrap? It was our thirteenth anniversary. Dun dun dun!!!
